Wistfulness

Right, so I'm a little slow.
But anyways,
Happy Last Day of 2010.
Its been an awesome year.
I'll miss you.

Thursday, December 30, 2010

Right, I know that I mentioned earlier that the next time I post, it'd probably be when I've completed either all of my homework apart from Chinese, or I've completed my Chinese.
But seriously, I need to say this.
WHY, IN THE NAME OF CHOCOLATE HOMEWORK, IS THE WEATHER SO COLD IN SINGAPORE.
I'm serious.
Even in the morning, I have a blanket covering my legs and I'm wearing a hooded pullover.
And yes, I'm wearing the hood.
Okay fine, so maybe its going to rain soon or something.
But still, its been like that for the past days.
However, somehow my brother thinks its one of the hottest days ever [as usual], and he keeps switching on the fan.
Which is why I'm freezing on my chair now.
I really can't complete my homework like this.
Anyway I really feel like ditching my Chinese.
But, for the sake of the Appeal Test, I shall try to get into Higher Chinese first.
If I'm in, then I'll care slightly less.
Anyway, so far, I have English, Literature, question 6 onwards of the Zhong Hua paper, half of my Gong Han and half of the Chinese paper left.
This is pathetic.

Fine, since my blog is on the verge of dying, like its on its deathbed or something now, I shall pump in some life into it, and revive it a little.
So basically since its coming to the end of the holidays, its time to do what I always do each year around this point of time.
#1 Attempt to do my homework.
#2 Get ready my stuff for next year.
#3 Do things in a more orderly way. Mainly about my schoolwork.
#4 Attempt to stop playing some of my computer games.
#5 Mentally brainwash myself into trying to study next year.
Well, I suppose all of you pretty much know how its going to turn out.
Considering the fact that I do this every year.
Anyways, my homework is going very badly, so the next time I post here again will probably be either when I finish my Chinese, or when I finish everything except Chinese.
Looking at the situation, I think I'm going with the latter.

Thursday, December 23, 2010

Well, I came back.
Quite a while ago.
Anyway I have to rush and finish my homework.
Oh gosh.

Friday, December 17, 2010

Well, I'm off to Langkawi tomorrow.
Technically its today.
Ah well, bedtime.
Mom's calling.

I have discovered the powers of Beyblades.
No, not the new crappy ones that are made of plastic, even though I now understand why they are.
I'm referring to the old, legendary ones that one day just disappeared without a trace.
If I'm not wrong, they were banned for being dangerous.
Mainly because:
1. They spin at high speeds.
2. They go crazy if spun in a proper way.
3. They're made of metal. Razor sharp metal that lined the sides of the Beyblades that determine the attack and defence power of the Beyblade.
4. They can actually climb up the curved walls of the battle arenas and attack people.
If I remember correctly, a number of people were injured in the past.
Not those minor cuts and stuff.
The real injuries.
Some unlucky guy was cut near his eye when one of the Beyblades jumped.
Honestly, that's quite cool, but yeah, dangerous.
And painful.
Anyway, last night, I was at my cousin's house.
And he showed me the new Beyblade set that his father [my uncle] had just bought for him.
So we were playing, when he showed me one of his new Beyblades, bought by my cousin for him from Hong Kong.
It was one of the old version ones, just slightly modified.
So, we were really excited to play with it again.
And that's when my cousin released it in a way that it went crazy and jumped out of the plastic arena.
Well, naturally, it spun to me.
And of course I had to be the first one to get cut by it.
After it hit my leg, it didn't stop spinning [amazingly], and it went to the wall.
Sparks appeared.
Yes, caused by the friction and cutting of the wall.
Sparks.
Well, we got a little scared, then amazed and thoroughly thrilled.
Then we continued playing.
I got cut about 5 more times from it.
Correction, I was the only one to even get cut by it.
Somehow dangerous items like these seem to be very attracted to me.
Ah well, luckily they're just skin deep.
They bled, but its not so bad.
Ah well.

I think I should just give up on my homework.
I can't do anything at all.
GAHHHHHHHHHHH
*Grabs hair and pulls*
*Runs around screaming in frustration like a mad lady*
*Falls to the floor and bangs head on floor*
I seriously need to do my homework.
I have what, 2 days left till I leave?
And I need to finish all of my homework by then.
*Repeats above mentioned actions and screaming*

Well, as expected from a 5 year experienced procrastinator, I haven't done a single thing yet.
Well, not really at least.
I have absolutely no idea how to write a 表扬公函, so I can't do that.
Chinese Paper 2 is just a matter of whether I want to do it or not.
Which, of course, I do but I can't get myself to.
English is a drag, but I suppose its completable in an hour or so.
Literature, well, I haven't read the book yet.
Math.
Well this is the worst part.
You know how I did my 35 questions?
All of them?
And checked through and redid them?
Well, I lost them.
Yes, that's right.
I carelessly misplaced it somewhere because I detached it from my foolscap pad.
And now its missing.
Ah well, I guess its okay, since it was horribly done and incredibly messy too.
Anyway, I'll be going off to Langkawi or however you spell it on the 17th.
Till the 22nd.
Meaning, not only am I missing Mun Yun's birthday (D:), I'm also missing 3 Band practices (!!!).
I feel horrible.

Homework status: Hovering around 10%

Well that's... pathetic.
Anyway, I need to remember to upload the pictures from Japan Trip.
Ah ah, I hate uploading pictures.
Maybe one day there'll be some way where they'll just magically upload themselves.
Anyway, bedtime.
Hopefully tomorrow my Homework Status Percentage (HSP) will increase a lot more.
Ohmy I just realised that HSP can mean High School Principal.
Yeah, too much Gakuen Alice.

"Amongst all my children, the one I worry about the most is you, you know."

"This is exactly why I need to worry about you."

"Because you're super easy to bully."

Seriously, I wonder when the day will come when I stop getting these comments.
In order, they're from my mom, my elder sister, and then from Grace and Tha Yang.
Well I'm quite used to hearing my mom and my sisters calling me weird and being worried for me, just because of the fact that I've never had a crush on a guy and in my earlier days I was scared of them. Well in fact I still kind of am nevermind.
But well, I never thought of myself as being someone easy to bully.
Its quite amazing, both the facts that I'm actually perceived as one, and that I've never thought that way while almost everyone else has.
Ah well.

Anyway I think the Japan Trip has done something to my body system such that I get tired at 11 pm sharp.
I think its something to do with rooming with a person that sleeps before 11 most of the time.

Being home, not meeting everyone that went for the Japan Trip every day, not seeing Mun Yun every night, not seeing Tha Yang, Grace, Tatiana and Prim almost every night, seeing everyone else that was back in Singapore, it all feels weird.
Yes, I do miss everyone.
I do miss the trip a lot.
I think I've gotten used to life during the Japan Trip.
I guess by Friday, I'll be back to normal.
Or maybe even tomorrow.
Considering the fact that I have tuition tomorrow.

Bedtime.
Sort of.

Monday, December 6, 2010

I want to go back to Japan.
And I have a very good reason for that.

Anyone has space in their home for one more person?
